Explains everything doesn’t it? Truth be told, it is technically bad for your wrists to use a laptop unelevated so having a stand isn’t a bad idea. Of course, this particular stand will cost you $50. Still need one?

Uh… this doesn’t seem to do anything that lowering your chair wouldn’t solve. The real benefit in that second picture is that they’re using an external keyboard. So, unless said stand comes with a keyboard, you better get used to typing vertically.
