Not exactly a gadget, but if you’ve got one of those new-fangled Blu-Ray players or a PS3 around now’s the perfect time to boost the ‘ol library. Amazon is running a 50% off sale on over 40 titles, and there’s actually a few decent ones in here. Black Hawk Down, House of Flying Daggers, Memento and more than a few others.
No time limit on the sale, I guess it’ll be there till they’re gone.

Happier?
Though as an aside DVD is less used as a technical term and more a term of the discs themselves. Check Amazon’s page, they routinely refer to Blu-ray DVD. Same is true for industry circles. It’s Sony that pushes for the BD nomenclature simply to distance themselves in the marketplace from HD-DVD.
I’m Not making excuses because you’re technically correct, but I’m just sayin’.

Don’t feel bad, Dan.
And Ted be gentle to my posts! They’re young and fragile!

I just wanted to point out the fact. And yes, i do realize a lot of people are referring to then as “blu-ray DVDs” but it is completely incorrect. And i think everybody should bring that fact to attention to anybody that uses the term incorrectly. I know i say a best buy ad in the store advertising “Blu-Ray DVD” and I told one of the sales reps they should take it down because it was incorrect and false advertising.
I think DVD will turn into something of a name like Kleenex or Xerox but we should try to prevent that.
