I just wanted to point out the fact. And yes, i do realize a lot of people are referring to then as "blu-ray DVDs" but it is completely incorrect. And i think everybody should bring that fact to attention to anybody that uses the term incorrectly. I know i say a best buy ad in the store advertising "Blu-Ray DVD" and I told one of the sales reps they should take it down because it was incorrect and false advertising.

I think DVD will turn into something of a name like Kleenex or Xerox but we should try to prevent that.

Happier?

Though as an aside DVD is less used as a technical term and more a term of the discs themselves. Check Amazon's page, they routinely refer to Blu-ray DVD. Same is true for industry circles. It's Sony that pushes for the BD nomenclature simply to distance themselves in the marketplace from HD-DVD.

I'm Not making excuses because you're technically correct, but I'm just sayin'.
