Brag about where you’ve been and what you’ve done in a web 2.0 kinda way

Meosphere 001
As if there weren’t enough social networks already, here’s another to keep 2007 going. Meosphere allows people to brag document where they’ve been, what they’ve done and what they want to do next. The free service uses Google Maps technology to geographically track people’s experiences.

The idea is to share the coolest places in the world, be it some cave in Sumatra or the new Pink Berry in West Hollywood. Those places and activities are organized into lists which are essentially user created categories. Of course, it wouldn’t be a social network if you didn’t have user profiles, pictures, blogging and comments.

So if you haven’t yet developed a distaste for social networks, give Meosphere a try. It was kind of cool to see what people were saying about Pink’s Hot Dog in Los Angeles. My two cents? I feel gypped for standing in a 20 minute line. Now I can say “been there, done that”.

Say something incredibly witty, insightful, or l33t
