Apple offers famed Mac browser Safari to Windows users. Someone, somewhere might actually care.

Enough said. I’m looking at L.T. and Adam to tell me different. Anyways, the Safari download is on my computer now, but I have yet to install it. We’ll see how long before my curiosity takes over, which may be never, since I am very content with Firefox.

Get the newest version of Safari, now for Windows

Also, enjoy this photo of Safari’s features, which don’t really stand out too much to me. Do Mac users know that Firefox has an optimized version for Mac OSX that supposedly runs better than Safari? And do they know that Firefox has better plugin, theme, and add-on support and communities than all other browsers combined?

These questions of mine may never get answered, lest you be angry at my sayings.

So what are you, Joe “free loading” Consumer, getting out of this update? Actually the 2.0.0.4 update fixes two bugs that Mozilla considers “critical” and “high” risks. Now if anyone can tell me what any of them mean, that would be swell.

Fixed in Firefox 2.0.0.4

MFSA 2007-17 XUL Popup Spoofing
MFSA 2007-16 XSS using addEventListener
MFSA 2007-14 Path Abuse in Cookies
MFSA 2007-13 Persistent Autocomplete Denial of Service
MFSA 2007-12 Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.0.12/1.8.1.4)

Whatever, let us just be happy that the cookie abuse is finally over.
