Sony shows off a device that does all the things you wish your phone did. The Sony mylo Personal Communicator COM-1 puts instant messaging, internet browsing, online voice and email in your pocket. This is all easily done with navigation buttons and a slide-out qwerty keyboard. The mylo also plays back digital music and video in MP3, ATRAC, WMV and MPEG4 formats. Instant messaging and even Skype are useable worldwide for free, and the software supports Yahoo! Mail and Gmail.
Also included free: Sony’s patented fingerprint magnet technology.

oh yeah, the Mylo. I heard about this thing quite a while ago and thought that it would be cool if it didn’t cost so much like everything Sony makes. Hasn’t this actually been out for a while now? I am pretty sure i saw them for sale in a couple places.

As far as I know this thing has been out since may of last year. I was talking to some peopel about how this thing has some REALY great things going for it yet no one has even heard of it! also if you don’t want to eat for a month its a great buy.

This little gadget would’ve been great if it didn’t cost almost as twice as the Sony PSP… The PSP too is capable of what the Mylo can do only if Sony wasn’t such an ass and afraid of their own products cannibalizing each other….
