You know what I hate doing? Reading a bunch of bullcrap to get to the good stuff. So guess what? I’m going to go ahead and read about 400 page of useless info and cut to the chase and tell you what games run nice, and which ones suck your grandma’s left nut.

Speaking of useless info, I just downed a Red Bull and am blasting some Diesel Boy (crappy Jungle music) as my russian co-worker plays Halo 2 online bitching about how people in rumble slayer can stick him in his semi-thick accent, I know, what the hell? I’m fucking wired.

How the games run:

Half-Life 2 - Steam runs great along with Day of Defeat, Counter Strike: Source, Lost Coast and Episode 1. Smooth as butter.

Darwinia - “Runs like a pig”

Bejeweled 2, Bookworm, Astropop & Chuzzle - They all run fine, no problems

World of Warcraft - Runs fine, don’t worry

Battlefield 2 - Punkbuster is a bitch, once you get over that the game runs fine

Guild Wars + Expansion (Nightfall) - Runs fine

LOTR Battle for Middle Earth II - “Perfectly smooth”

Civilization IV - Runs fine

Vanguard - Four paragraphs of crap to tell you it runs “perfectly fine”

Unreal Tournament 2004 - Runs fine, as do mods like Red Orchestra

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter - Runs like butter

Doom 3 - Single and multiplayer are fine; no problems whatsoever

Prey - Has a couple snags but ends up running fine, even in Aero.

Call of Duty 2 - Runs fine until you turn on Anti Aliasing then shit goes down

Gothic 3 - I think he’s talking about something else, I can’t even tell at this point

Company of Heroes - Zero problems

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - You have to jump through hoops for a bit, then the game becomes eye candy

Neverwinter Nights 2- Plays fine

Dark Messiah - You have to launch the MP from the Start menu

The Sims 2 - “The Sims 2 is arguably one the best selling games on the PC” - What the fuck is there to argue? “It runs flawlessly”

Sid Meier’s Pirates - Runs fine, displays old artwork in Explorer

Rise of Legends - Looks and plays fine

Gametap - Doesn’t work
