Microsoft plans to ship 100,000 pink Zune players on the first of May, and they sure do look pretty. While there have been fake pink Zune players in the past, this one is a genuine release model, and will have all of the same features as its brown, white, and black counterparts. This version of the pink Zune looks very sleek and shiny, and certainly outdoes the standard issue magenta and orange Zunes (Joe) for Zune insiders:

Along with the announcement of the release date of the pink Zune, Microsoft also hinted that there would be another bright color released shortly after the pink Zune is brought to the market, therefore making six color choices for the Zune. Also, as if the addition of new colors wasn’t enough good news for Zunenites, according to newzunereview.com, Microsoft’s Samir Bhavnani, research director for Current Analysis said:

“I am predicting we will see the flash-based player by the end of the year ”

As far as the future of Zune’s entertainment offerings go, Jason Reindorp, Microsoft’s marketing director for Zune said:

“We are developing Zune as an ‘entertainment’ brand, which means it will include music, video and games. But will there be Xbox-like games on the device? We don’t know yet. We are still thinking through our games strategy.”

In case you missed the earlier released photos of the pink Zune, here are some of the Photoshopped fakes of the Zune, as well as some real ones (see if you can guess which are fake and which are real):

While this doesn’t mean that the new color planned to be announced after the pink Zune hits the market is orange, it does give an insight about what Zune buyers may want as far as an additional color is concerned. Judging by the quality of the magenta Zune compared to the pink one, it is fairly clear that Microsoft spent a good amount of time choosing the right shade of red. Expect to see more fake Photoshops of Zunes to come.

There’s nothing contrived about the pink and orange zune photos (and video) moron. THey are real. They were given to the Zune team as gifts. Get a clue. Just because you cant buy them doesn’t mean they are fake.

Hmm… okay, so you must be right since your name is Joe. Actually, I think you should read this article since you may not realize the quality of these fakes.

I’m not gonna say your wrong, this is just the information that I have. Please, in your epic joeness, find me a link (with, of course, a second or third recursive link so as no foul play is apparent) and then I will fix the photo descriptions in this article. If you can’t prove I am wrong, I probably won’t even care.
